Kristen Thompson
Day Care Associate Director

Kristen has plenty of experience with children.  She has a gentle calm about her that allows the children to feel very comfortable with her.

In 2009 she began teaching at Angels Among Us Preschool at the First Christian Church.  At the same time, Kristen began working part-time at Guardian Angel Day Care here at Carrollton United Methodist Church.  In June 2021 Kristen became our Day Care Associate Director.

Kristen is a life-long resident of Norborne, MO.  After graduating from Norborne High School, she attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.  While there she was active in the National Honor Fraternity Phi Sigma Pi.  Kristen also enjoyed participating in intramural sports.  Ms. Thompson graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in social work.

Kristen has also served as nursery attendant at our United Methodist Church during worship services on Sunday mornings and special evening services.  We have been lucky to have her working with, and caring for, the youngest members of our church family.

In her spare time, Kristen enjoys reading, crafting and taking care of her pets (a chihuahua and bearded dragon).
