Janet Plackemeier
Day Care Director

We are excited to announce that our new Day Care Director is Janet Plackemeier.  She joined our staff on August 4, 2015.

Janet is no stranger to working closely with children.  Indeed many parents know Janet from her 35 years working at the Immanuel Lutheran Preschool (Carrollton) where she has taught 4 and 5 year olds.  At the preschool Janet had responsibilities relating to team teaching and management, planning curriculum, and securing supplies.

Ms. Plackemeier holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Mizzou.  She substituted twice a week at the Carrollton R-VII School District between 1984-1989.  Before that she taught second grade at the Bosworth R-V School District until she gave birth to her first of two children.

Janet is active in her church.  In fact, she has taught Sunday School since 1980 and has helped lead Vacation Bible School for the last 35 years!

We believe the good Lord has answered our prayers and provided us with an excellent new director who has already become a blessing to the children in our care and the families we seek to serve.
